I don't know who/what is KaiRo, however we'll surely encounter negative responses or not responses at all.
But I think mainly the smaller developers are nearly always glad to cooperate (they need publicity).

Well, JoWood has official Gothic III English forums so I guess they don't want to link to here anymore. The Gothic II site, however, still has a link to the RPGDot forums.
