I want to make a new face texture (of myself...) but I have no idea of how to go about doing it. Anyone know of any good sites with tutorials, or have any ideas of how to do this? This sounds n00bish, I know. Thanks.

i haven't tried it before, but i think you need 3d Studio Max - ie. a 1000 dollar program. so i suggest asking someone else to do it. possibly Rhedd and Aleuriah (sp), but i don't think they take requests.

Actually, you don't need 3DSMax to retexture. All you need is a paint program. You need to create a .tga, .bmp or .dds bitmap, or (easier) find an existing one and modify it; then hex-edit the mesh file (.nif) to use it. There's a handy utility called Gibbo's Skinner that will make the hex editing easier. And yes, there are tutorials; there's one at http://www.angelfire.com/wizard/kathykitten/journeys.html and there may be others. Try google or better yet the search function at the TESCS forum at the official site -- these kinds of questions get asked and answered there many times a day.
