| How to get/learn crossbow and good two-handers? |
|
I've just joined as a shadow and now I'd like to learn a ranged weapon. I'd like to learn crossbow just because I always learn bow, but I need it now and I believe Scorpio is the only crossbow trainer and he only trains guards. So without giving too much away can you tell me how long until I can become a guard?
Also, where can I get a good two-hander earlyish in the game besides the rusty two-hander?

You get the choice to become a Guard in Chapter 3.
I'm sure you could "liberate" a Templar from his sword. That, or you could invade the orc town and find the "Revenge Steel" (92 dmg!).

You can get heavy crossbow by beating up Jackel or even better the crossbow of war by beating up Scar. He is tough though in chapter 1.
You can get warrior's voice by beating up Okyl in free mine. It does 96 damage. Before I get that weapon, I go to swamp camp first and get a custodian blade as a in between weapoon. I mean it's tough to get warrior's voice if you only have a pickaxe.
If you get warrior voice in chapter one and max out 2 handed fighting, the rest of the game become really easy.

For all I know, Scorpio will teach you crossbow, after the old camp will be closed!
When this will happened you'll find him near Calavorn (the one who teaches you bow).

You can gett the choise of learning crossbow after you become a Guard.

If you want a good 2h weapon, you can take the orc hammer (see the walkthrough) and then you can beat up a templar and take his sword ( 2h - 70 damage)

you can learn the crosbow skill from scorpio,and get lees axe.
