I was curious to see if anyone in this forum had heard of The Realm that is where I started playing MMORPG's I played it for about 2 years there about I was on a hunt
to become a lvl 500 wizard but seemed to get
myself killed in bizarre ways so I never did
reach that lvl but I did get married in the
game to the same woman I am married in RL
so I would say RPG has been good to me
I must admit I continued to go thru the
millstone of go fight make potions strive
to become a higher lvl at all cost it seems
I would go to sleep thinking of playing
and first thing in the morning sometimes before food I would logon but I really didn't
have a problem I was just living another reallity not a big thing I think I do miss
Quedmar my elf wizzy who had to use a wrath
cuz the magic was not equivilent to bashing
go figure but that is just part of my tale
of misbegoten MMORpG life

for anyone interested the game was made by
Sierra but not widely advertized it is
pretty rudimentary 2d gameplay but it is
only $5 a month

I remember the game, Codemasters have now acquired the license in Europe, I think. A friend of mine played it back 4 years ago or so, but I liked MUDs better then. |

I found it to be a pleasant little game. The only real problem was that real development (and improvement) stopped short of the mark.
