Should I wait to kill the Ice Dragon? |
|
I just killed the Ice Dragon, without waiting for a quest to come up for me to do it. I don't even know if there is a specific quest that will come up... But after reading a few others' posts I see that they knew more about the dragon than I did, when I happened upon it thinking I was finding some super secret area...
I have a back-save entitled 'Here Be A Dragon' just in case I jumped the gun too soon, and it messes up the game later on.
Thanks for any input you can give.
Forgot to mention: I did manage to get the Dragon Eggs off of the ceiling. |

No, there is no dragon spesific quest, only a quest for dragon's egg, which you already have. You don't miss anything but a couple of Question&Answer cutscenes (nothing special) with the dragon.. _________________ - Merz |

Okay.. Cool. I saw A cutscene, though... Dragon said he already knew me.. talked about my weaknesses, etc...
I just wish it were a bad conversation, because I feel kind of bad for killing the poor guy. It was so easy too... Just got on the stairs, and used the fire field spell, and it stayed there on his back until he was toast. |

Well, you dont need to kill him (unless you want his bones to enchant your mellee weapons): precast the "undo shieldfiled" spell, just take eggs (you'll need at max 2) buy "SHIFT+(left click)", run to the exit, which is blocked now by the field; use the spell and off you go _________________ - Merz |

There is one piece of experience you may have missed out on. Knowing how many scales a dragon has. If you got that right, then you can safely kill the dragon without missing out on anything. _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!

Okay.. That went over my head. I guess I missed out. As long as I can still get to level 10, I don't think I'll mind... |

Problem with the number of scales |
|
I have read the number of scales on a dragon multiple times, but it doesn't seem to register - my character still won't give him the right amount of gold. Is this a bug, or am I missing something? |

You might need to have the book with you - I read the book and took it with me. Am Shaegar said "I think I read that in a tome somewhere" when taling to the dragon, and then I just Combined my goldpouch on the dragon and it automatically selected the right amount of gold. |
