Can you please tell me everything you know about the guild thing.

There's a bunch of em. I've only been playing for a coupla hours so I dont know about all of them. They have like Fighters, mages, Thieves guilds. Also there are temples you can join and of course the houses. They offer services and such to you, and you complete quests for them. Completing quests gets you money and can get you promoted. |

Joining guilds and houses is a central part of the game. Being a guild member raises your faction with the guild and gives you access to services like enchanting and spellmaking. It also get you better prices when you buy and sell there. I addition doing quests for the guild is a good way to get sent to where all the good stuff is going on in the game(well, after you do a bunch of newbie stuff). I am a member of the thieves guild, mages guild and the blades(main quest). Hope this helps  |

The Impearial Cult is very easy to join.  Almost as easy as looting all of their riches in Pelagiad.
