PC vs. XBox versions...from one who has both

XBox is definately the better of the two. its faster, smoother, the AI is improved, the loading times are fewer and shorter, and it looks cool on a 60 inch TV. I know the resolutin isnt 1124x864, but that is not a big deal.
the only "weird" thing is the controller. i like the mouse and keyboard better.
if only there was a mouse/keyboard available for the XBox. shucks
oh yeah, and no plugins...big friggin deal. so you cant cheat by getting a million gold and all the uber-weapons without earning them righteously. anyone who does that is a loser. who prob cheats at all their games.

Too bad I don't have a 60inch HDTV hmm?

I think talking about the game itself (ignoring the environment its played in) PC version far outstrips the X-Box version: clearer text, plugings and as you said, the better control format.

Another thing, thse Xbox v PC concepts are dated, and from pre MW release.

Give me a pc anytime.
You can play games and far more.
Pc can have better a sound then a tv.
My Pc screen is larger then my TV. So no contest

Sooth I totally agree with you. Who needs to spend all that money on trying to uprade their PC when you have got the most powerful console in your own room? And about the plugins, we'll probably be getting plenty when xbox live rolls around. Oh and go see austin powers goldmember, its gonna be friggin hilarious.

Hope it works good on PC. I just bought the game a few minutes ago. I only have a PIII 733mhz, with 384 ram.

P.S. Hi everybody!

the pc version is better just because you can read the text? lol
I dont know what your saying about the "clear" text. it looks fine. in fact, the text screens are bigger.
the day when Xbox vs. PC concepts are dated, is when there are no more Xbox games that come out on pc and vice versa.

Welcome!

Hi Vanderghast!

I've got less CPU than you, less RAM and a very low end graphics card, and I have very few complaints. Your graphics card is reasonably important, in that you need a 32MB+ GeForce256 or above, or equivalent card from a different manufacturer. Hope you don't have a TNT or something!

However, some people have random problems even on top-end hardware, so the only thing to recommend really is try it and see!

My best friend, Howard played the X-Box version of Morrowinf for ahile and he said the PC version is better.

One thing that differs is the water. He tells me the water looks far better on GeForce Ti 500 than the it does on the X-Box.

Plug-ins are a big thing, cause the game gets boring without them. The whole editing thing too. I love editing videogames, thats why i always go for the PC version. GTA3 is far better on PC than PS2, cause you can change things, plus the graphics will always look better on PC. You can't upgrade your X-Box for better visuals. Just not possible.

you're absolutely right about the plug-ins. i have a bunch for the PC version, and if they are done right, they make for infinite hours of questing. the only thing that sucks is the buggy-ass stuttering(BTW, i have a high-end system with a athlonXP/GF3Ti500 and 1.5Gigs of DDR RAM). on xbox, its smoother than ice. thats why i like it better.
i still play both versions.

The only reason the xbox would be better is because the PC version runs like crap on anything. This game isnt worth the argument.

I cant compare the two, but I know that i wouldnt want to give up the editor. That thing is at least as much fun for me as the game itself.

I tried it last night and it was way to chopping on my 16meg card. I'll be hunting for a new video card it looks like. I'll look at the G-Forces and ATI Radeons and see what i can find.

Then what could make them so different from each others? Well, of course the plug-ins... but not much besides that i would guess, it is the same game after all.
