How do I get out of the Valley of Mines?

I know this is a stupid question but I keep running around and can't find my way out of the valley through the pass. And what does the main character keep talking about a way through an abandoned mine? I think I just ran through the first time. Is it in the northeast corner of the map??

Thanks.

if you have a map look at it.
it is a road in hte north-east part of hte valley of mines, just go there and there will be a long path, if you walk into a tunnel there will be a load screen. then follow the path and you will be out of the valley of mines.

what level should i reach before going to the valley of mine

i'm level 15 and i can't kill an orc so easy
it is enough for him to hit me 3 times and i'm dead.i don't have to say anything if there are more then just one, or if there are orc shamans too.

or should i try not to disturb them ???

thanks.

Three times to hit you isn't too bad. Maybe if you block when he attacks then counterattack you'll do all right. When they just strike you dead in one I'd just run. But don't mess with a pack of 'em. The shamans are the worst cause they sit in the back and just flame you.

I use the run and dash technique *tm:

Get thier attention, then run away, dodging the shaman's spells. When they give up, turn around, and try and pull the one orc in the rear or the one orc closest to you.

Granted, I die allot doing this but sometimes it works and I can kill them one by one, preferably the shaman first....I haven't tried this with an Orc Elite and I am only level 13 with a fighter / marksman skill in one hand, and bow. Wish I had went with crossbow but too late now..

lvl 14? then you must have very good fighting skills..in lvl 20 orc warrioirs weren't problems anymore..but even in lvl 30 I had to escape back to the ship in Irdorath when I had 4 elites punching my back..
