You forgot "None". That's my favorite.

'None' option added. We've had this question before. But the old poll is broken, so I guess it's okay to start a new one.

Vi - i have rescued this girl in Wizardry 7, so i stay with her -> with a dread spear or a stun rod she is fighting like hell.

sometimes i use Madras too, because my imported party has no gadgeteer.

I'm re-voting - I voted in last poll. I still stand by Vi. Tantris is second. Second time through, I'm going to try avoiding RPCs as much as possible. (I'm leaving monastery for the Arnika Road. All puzzles done, but I want to level up my bishop 1 more level before I head out onto the mismatch.)

Why I like Vi - you get her early enough to mold her into a character that works with your party, cause you can emphasize what you need to fill in (spells, fighting, whatever).

I too imported from Wiz7, HiddenX. I wonder if this clouds are judgment because she's reacting differently to us? I'll find out eventually when I make it back to Arnika with party 2.

I've always hated RPCs. My attitude is if they're filling gaps in my party's skill set, then I didn't design/develop my party properly in the first place. I'm told that Vi adds more to the story than the rest of the RPCs. I was going to bring her along this time for the story points, but I just couldn't do it.

Dteowner-
We had extremely similar parties, so we didn't really have gaps. But even so, I liked having Vi & Tantris as extra swords, so to speak. We lacked gadgeteer capabilitiy, for example. And for someone who hasn't built a party like we did (we done real good ) they can at least fill in once in a while.
