Well I don't know what to do anymore,when I want to start Gothic it gives me an Application Error-Access Violation crap message,I patched it to 1.08 k but no change,I've disabled the sound still nothing,tried the compatibility modes same error, so if somebody has any ideas please help me out.
My rig:AMD XP 1900,mobo V266b from Jetway with sound on-board(Avance 97),Win XP,Direct x 9.0a,Geforce Mx 440 with 44.03 detonator.

Go back to DirectX8 and try again. Google for a tool to remove DX9.

Fine, but what I'm gonna do with the rest of my games(some of them requires DX9)??
