Gothic 2 Add-On Hotfix 2.5a released

Thanks to JoWood's Community Manager Plex for letting us know that there is now a hotfix (v2.5a - 2.1MB) available for the German 'Gothic II' expansion pack 'Die Nacht des Raben'. The update takes care of disappearing/misplaced bodies, a crash bug related to a spell effect, and a crash bug that was caused by "file not found" errors (MRM/MMB). In addition to that, an option that prevented sky texturing issues has been reactivated.
Savegames made prior to the hotfix will automatically be updated to the latest version and will continue to work. You only need to start a new game in case you have run into a problem with disappearing/misplaced bodies so that you could not finish certain side quests.

Very strange that it suddenly appears in the news-forum with 24th May on it. It's very confusing that old newsposts can reappear in the forum with a different postdate for some reason.

Oh, it's not so strange as you might think. The site code makes a thread in here automatically when somebody tries to (even) view comments. In case no reply is made, the thread gets automatically deleted within a hour, I think.

Ok, I get it. Well, in my case somebody else checked this old post and made it appear in the forum. I took it for a new post.
