Dwarwen prankster...

As many of you know, behind the orc wall in the valley of mines, there is a sign put there by a 'mighty alien dwarf'. After returning from the valley I did some exploring and found the mighty alien dwarf's grave(the cemetary outside Onars farm). The grave said: 'Mighty Alien Dwarf 2894-3787 'it's all a fake! Believe me...'''
Naturally this intrigues me, so I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or sollutions on this matter other than that it's a programmer/developers joke...
Whatever it is, it's always fun to find unexpected things in a game that not necessarily relates to the game itself!

Perhaps this dwarf is the reason we are all playing Gothic and Gothic 2 today. He went back in time to "today" from his future world and then implanted the incredible idea into PB's minds to create this game. He promised then wealth and fame from their games so long as they pay him hommage by placing his great deeds on a sign and somewhere name him in every product. If PB fails to do so the sky will rain fire and the alien dwarven masters will colonize our entire planet and take us as slaves for all time!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Lol! Good suggestion, Hereticiv. I didn't play the first Gothic game, but did they have a reference to that cheeky bastard in that one as well?
Hmm...when I think of it, it's kinda strange that a game that contains the traditional races like humans, orcs, goblins and dragons doesn't have any dwarwes or elves in it. But I guess that's just the world of Gothic! Maybe the mighty alien dwarf is a clue of what's to come in future Gothic games...

Hm, if I remember correctly I found the grave before Lothar passed away. But it's been a while so I'm not sure.

It's true that grave has always been there, so it's no bug in the game. But that's besides the point, cause the grave doesn't say Lothar, it says Iotar. Whoever that may be...

Hmm... I remember I talked to him before somewhere in the Valley of Mines. Once I find him the next time, I'll post some screenshots indicating where I met the Mighty Alien Dwarf.

We all know the mighty alien dwarf is the developers taking the piss, so why discuss it?
