Guild choice from a new perspective

Is there a guild that will ultimately put me in a position to work for peace in the island?
I mean, the mercs really only want to be able to go to the mainland, the paladins only want the ore then will go away, the magicians... well, I don't really know what they "want"

Will i be able to settle these matters, making different factions ally together for example? What guild will allow me to do this?

Well, I don't think Sylvio and his buds are too keen on going anywhere fast, and the militia aren't going anywhere, and the Mages stay, so there are really only a few who want to go to the mainland if you think about it.

If you want a peace then become a mage.
They live peacefully in their monastery and they are representatives of the holy church.
Don't even try to make mercenary a beliver 'cause they regard magicians a lunatics. But you can get very well with Paladins.Thats well seen in talk with ship guard. As a mage you can get aboard the ship in chapter 1.Just talk to ship guard and blabber him about you are a Chosen One and he will let you aboard(there you can find ring of wood protection +5 arrow AC,elixir of strength and molerat fat so you can do quest moonshine from chapter 3)
And that only as a MAGE
PRAISE BE TO INNOS!!!!!!
