| Locked door in garond's castle |

how do you get the key to the door thats upstairs in garonds section of the castle (the room to the right on the back wall)? |

If you go up and face the back wall (the one with the door in it), then turn left. Follow the wall to its end, then go into the room on your left. The key is on a table - I think it's to the immediate left of the door. Hope I got everything right.

i've already got THAT key, but i need the one that opens the door to go into the tower in the castle that has the chest in it. (I marvined into there to see what was in it. there was a chest and a lower skeleton spawned, but i want to do it the legit way.) |

Maybe you should try to open that door with a picklock (I hope my memory is ok). |

you can't picklock doors in GII (if i remember correclty)
