I'm replaying Gothic now and i've joined the new camp. I brought the list to Diego and i went back to Lares. He said that his men already killed Thorus and his friends. But when i go back to the old camp everything's the same. Thorus is guarding the castle entrance and all the guards are alive. Why is this so stupid? Does Lares lies and will i find that out in the future (i haven't continued the game yet, my harddrive crashed) or is this a stupid bug wich is very dumb?

I dunno, but if you gave the list to Diego, is it possible to join the new camp?? I thought you had to keep the list for the NC if that's where you wanted to go..

If you take the list to Lares first, he will forge it and add a lot of stuff...then you take it to Diego, and you pass the Test of Faith anyway...you can choose to join the Old Camp or the New Camp then...I don't remember what Lares said...I thought he said Thorus' guards are lying dead in the forest...I never found any dead bodies and nobody at the Old Camp seemed to know or care...I thought it was dumb, too...there are a lot of dumb things in this game, I wish they'd patch it... |

Well..dumb or not, you seem to be talking about patching one of the predominant features of the game..I think the issues addressed if and when they ever DO patch the game will be bugs and control issues; the storyline would be far down on the list, I suspect..

No, he didn't kill Throus, I believe you misunderstood him.
He said his rouges killed the guards that were delivering the goods to the old mine, that's all. |

Well, he _did_ mentioned the name Thorus. I'm pretty sure he said he killed Thorus and the other guards. |
