Some people seem to think a P3600 cant run Gothic smoothly...damn weird.
I played it on a P2 400...yup
with a geforce 256 and 320 Ram.
Ram is cheap as hell now, get it, it helps. ad a geforce is great too. Gothic really runs awesome on lower systems..
Don't come complaing your P3700 can't run if you got like 32 ram. That;s ridiculous.
Get a decent card and loads of ram...

And btw Gothic rules, the controls are great. just because they are not the usual controls you're used to doesn't mean they are bad. After an hour of play your running like a nut in this game. I read people saying controls as biggest complaint or char development..
man don't get picky, this game is awesome!
It's a 9 outof ten, and not 7.5 like someone stated.
bah
wierdos!

M8,

I think the performanceproblems are the game's fault. I'm running it on this:

AMD 1,4 Ghz
512 mb ddr
geforce 2 pro 64 mb ddr
windows XP

and it hardly runs at all (10 fps or so) So I think you are incorrect

It should run smoothly on your machine, with everything maxed out. If it stutters on such a machine you are losing performance somewhere.
