Little help with enchanting anyone?

OK, so I have my meteor sword that has already been combined with a dragon egg, and I'm trying to enchant it again so that I can see the Alia and priest cinematic. I try putting dragon bone powder on the sword and it says not a good idea, and I try just enchanting the sword and it also says not a good idea. I'm level 8, and I'm wondering why it won't let me enchant my sword. Thanks for the help.

When you made the sword you did use the koltk powder with the mithril to make it? Both have to be in the furnace at the same time. Hope you have a save before that and before you put the draggon egg on it. Go to before draggon egg if you can and see if Ready to be enchanted shows up for the sword. If so then you probably made it right but don't have high enough casting skills to enchant it. You can also check that out by saving, go to snake lady and ask her to enchant it. If she can you made it right and just need to find the right level scroll or increase you skills in casting.

If you don't have a high enough level scroll for the job or you are using one that is too low it won't work. There is one low level one and one really high one if I remember. If you are level eight you can't use scrolls that are brown or black. Dark blue is level eight.

If you still have the koltk powder, you have to go back to a save and make the sword over. If you don't have it go back to the furnace and make sure it is not still in there. That happened to me once. For some reason it looked like it was in there but the pixels were bad and it didn't work.

You may still be able to make the other sword using it if you have not used the extra power stone you found.
