can't start my gothic2.exe

hi, atm. i have a problem which probably isn't solved yet. I just (for 1 hour ago) installed my gothic2 game, into my c:\jowood\g2\ folder... when i click me into that dir and try to open the file it simply won't open. No error messages or anything. It is running inside the Proccesslist. "Gothic2.exe" "x usage RAM".. anyone who have tried this before? or a geek who can imagine the problem and solve it out

?

Wait longer. The first start can take more than 10 minutes on systems with slow hard discs because an internal file system with more than 25.000 entries has to be built.
