My darkest fear confirmed one of the developers in an interview, but I just can't remember where I've read this damn thing...

Funny. Mine's okay. But I have 256Mb RAM.

Works for me too, must be a crap processor or ram, worked fine for my 900 MhZ and 256 Ram, and why don't you just play in a lower resolution?? I did and I didn't mind, it went smooth as.

i got an ATI 32mb card and at 1024x768 it works just fine!! only ones in a while the fps goes down.

That's because his GF2 is a MX. A normal GF2 would stomp a hole in that 32mb ATI card you have...

Umm, depends. If your graphics-card is a little slower, it would probably prefer 800x600. If the bottleneck is somewhere else it donŽt matter. I get no visible slowdown when using 1024x768, and no visible increase with 800x600. As for colordepth, 16 is usually faster, but looks a little worse. Again, I get no visible slowdown with 32 bits. Just try ll the combinations out, and youŽll find what works the best.

Yea, then get a GeForce 4, sell your GeForce 2 MX and buy a GF4. It's only $125 in australian money.

There's still no date set for a demo. In the meantime, go and check out Piranha Bytes' new GII panaorama pic, music, making of article and developer interview here.

Off Topic? Well not really. I'm telling him to get a GeForce 4 so he can handle Gothic and G2 in a better resolution, therefore making him able to play the G2 Demo in the highest resolution, and isn't this topic about the G2 Demo??.

Well, now that the German version has gone Gold, maybe we'll hear something about a Demo. I hope they release the German and English versions simultaneously, I need something to hold me over until whenever the full English version is released!
