Are there any plans for a sequel to Divine Divinity? I'm still on hiatus from the game but just curious.

There's a lot of talk and speculation on the official forums about this. There's been no announcement yet, but personally, I think there'll be a Divine Divinity 2 or at least an expansion. I think that's why the developers left the story so open at the end. If you'd like to check out the official forums here's the link:

I hope so. Divine Divinity is one of my favorite games ever.
It took so long to beat also. So much content in it.
Reading through their announcements, I can say
1. they are working on their next game. They plan to announce it in the next few weeks.
2. It wont be named Divine Divinity 2, even if that is what it is. The developers dont like that name.
3. I suppose... that you can read between the lines that it will not be an expansion for DD. First off, it is not being published by CDV. How could they arrange to produce a game that requires you buy someone elses game to play it? |
