The start of the best adventure series EVER! The first is definitly one of the best in the series too. Overall, one of the best games ever.

This is one of the few games where you can import your character from the previous games to the later ones. A feature any series with a sequel using the same character should use.

Also the skill system is great in the fact that you build skill through what you practice.

One of the best ideas for an adventure or RPG ever that this game has is the realistic need for sleep and food. You don't eat, you starve. You don't sleep, your stamina goes down until you wear out and die. I think many other games should at least consider this idea. especially with games where you control 1 character. I've seen this in other games such as Realms of Arkania but it's rare.

So many great things about this game. I HIGHLY recommend it. An oldie but a goodie. Get this game and the 4 sequels to it. You won't regret it if you like adventure/RPG games.

What seems like eons ago, I played this game as a teenager when it first came out, this was my first computer game!!! After this game I was hooked, seriously hooked!!! I bought the series a few years ago on ebay just for nostalgia's sake; it was a great game!
