Kill Dexter?
   

In chapter 4 I get quest to kill one black mage (yeah, what's the english name again..), but when he (or I) attack, all bandits try to kill me.
Also when I use spells to kill this mage, all's OK, but when I talk to Dexter (again), he's still scared and attacks me. Ofkoz bandits have no chance:)
But is it a way to not kill him (I'm sorry to kill old friend, and it looks like he can give me some quests)?

I donīt think you can avoid killing dexter. He wasnīt exactly happy to meet you.
