I don't have any problems with the smallerboxes with but one exception: the limitations this places on manual size. With collectors sets, if you are paying out a chunk of change for extras, hopefully they are of good quality, consider the metal tin box used in the Civilization Collectors Edition, very nice on its own. I don't see why you couldn't get something along those lines with a decent cloth map and a larger manual in the collectors edition if you're paying extra anyway... |

The manual is identical to the normal edition, and the box is large and flimsy. Definately not as nice as the civilization one. |

Yeah. I have over 100 games in my drawer, and a DVD case is about 4x the size of a jewel case. I'll have to see what the multi CD DVD cases are like - maybe I'll keep them, but I haven't come accross one yet.
If I could I'd ditch the jewel cases and put everything in one box, but I've never seen one that I trusted not to scratch the CD's.
Out of those 100 odd games I've only ever finished about half a dozen. Most games are crap and I don't finish them. Some games are not too bad, but have issues that I find too annoying to persevere with. I have an excellent coaster collection though |

There are various DVD multi disk versions. I think the developers just make their own. The best one I saw actually housed 4 CD's all in the central area, one on top of another. But every Multi disk DVD case I have seen has always been standard DVD size. |
