Snow in Gothic 2?????

Has anybody heard if there is going to be any snow in the scenrey of Gothic 2?? I think that would be a really cool effect- it would realy contribute to the dark, unforgiving world portrayed in the Gothic 2 story.

I have heard mere rumors from 'unofficial' sources...
Personally, I agree that it would be a rather nice affect, though...
maybe, maybe not.

I do like an involving weather system in Gothic 2; including snowing, thunderstorm with lightning flashing, heaving rain and windy - they would really draw you into the world of Gothic.

pft! Who needs a snowboard! You could use some of the swords from Gothic 1 as skies.

There was also snow in Gothic I. They made the snow as an effect ready to put into the game.. they just never got to use it. If you see the list of effects in the spacer, snow is there. It's only covering a very small area, but it looks cool .. although, the sky, ground, and footseps-sound would have to change too, and all sounds should be somehow more quite, like when you put cotton into your ears .. then it would be realistic.
Right now, it would fit a wedding scene better

Snow? Too soft. What about hail? Golf ball sized ice balls dropping from the sky. I reckon my armor should be able to hold it. But I might just find a poor farmer flat on the floor with a bleeding head wound from the hail.

A hurricane or tornado would also be nice.

Yeah snow would be nice.
Like your going in a snowy forest and you see animal tracks on the ground
...and you follow them into a cave and wham! They've got you!
I hope G II will have a lot of weather effects but the ones in Gothic
were cool too!
