How do I get the guide, the site doesn't exist.

I made it to level 17 in chapter 1 once, it's fun and easy in chapter two taking on all the orcs and even Elites

Thanks for all the info. Did I mention the part where everything left in the game kicks my butt? I can't even kill snappers....unless it's one at a time, but they seem to be pack animals.

I'm thinking I can't go further since I put too many points into str, and sword. I hate playing rangers but I don't see how I can kill stuff unless it's at a distance.

I'll give it one more day then I guess I'll just have to start a new game as a bowman.

You can lure snappers away from their pack! As soon as one of them notices you, walk back, not too fast so he can follow you, but fast enough that he doesn't makes his "attack jump". Keep walking behind with him kind of sneaking towards you. You can get him alone far enough from his pack. Works with dragonsnappers too.

Did you read my post about the lurkers and fieldraiders, you should be able to kill those.

A pure bowman character is even harder than just a swordsman, becuase certain animals have an extremely high pierce armor or are even invulnerable to arrows.

If you want to get some easy exp and your the most patient person that exists then simply look at your map and you will see a troll on the map, go there and kill it by running behind it and strafing round it so it always faces away from you. Then after about 2 weeks of hitting it you will reap the rewards of 1000EXP a ring, a kings sorrel and a 1handed axe that does 65 dmg. But you need 65 str to use it.

I've trained up sword to 30, gotten lockpick, 20 on bow...leather armor and a wolf tooth sword.

Try to get the "orc slayer" instead of the wolf tooth. The wolf tooth has 20 dmg and the orc slayer has 65. The orc slayer is at the top of one ruin at the temple ruin site. It's a long way to get there but it is the least dangerous.
