Welcome to the Dot first of all!

I'm not sure what you are looking for. The crystal caves are level 2, but you get to them through level 3. Find the troll camp and go to the left and back of it. You will find stairs leading down to the water. At the bottom of the stairs go to the right. There is a cave opening there that is hard to see until you get close. That is crystal cave entrance.

The stalagmites are in the dragon caves area. Level 2. From the goblin prison you must exit that door on opposite end from the Human Outpost entrance. Where the special troll lives. As you walk to the right toward his cave you will see three stalagmites sticking up. (Be sure to do this section if you haven't done it and talk to this guy first) Get up as high on these rocks as you can. Then levitate across the pass to the other side. Float to left is best place. In this area is where you find lots of goodies, and the stalagmite to shoot down. I won't say anymore for now so as not to spoil it for you. Have fun. Post if you need more help.
