I haven't played a single online game with anyone on these forums yet. For all I know you guys don't even communicate out side of these forums. We should put an end to that and form some sort of RPGDot group that plays NWN on a regular basis. I'm sure a good amount of you will have the game. Let's make this work.
Who else pre-ordered the game?
EDIT-We should make a Forum Group that is based on our playing NWN. This would help in making ranks.(Higher level = higher rank) It would be cool to be able to play this game with my RPGDot group. The fact that the group will be based on NWN opens possibilities that other groups don't have.(Can't think of too many right now, but I'm sure it does.) Anyways who's with me??
EDIT#2-Thanks for not saying anything guys. That's the way to share some love with Gomez, or more like take love and beat my head in with it. _________________ His thoughts are whack.

Actually, the NF's guild has about a dozen people already signed up for play. _________________ Make good choices. |

A lot of people will get the game sooner or later. You may ask people for their playing time zone, availability and try to create a list for matchups. I think 6-10 is the optimal size for a DMed group. |

I'd love to find a group to play with. I got lucky enough to have Wed/Thurs/Fri off so its almost NWN time haha.
Anyway, I'm EST time zone and I have about 4 to 5 years of pen and paper DnD experience if that matters. Maybe some of us can set something up. |

Hey, I've played D&D on and off again for years, ranging from Pool of Radiance part one back in forever ago, paper D&D, and about every major release since, really loved Morrowind, kinda like Neverwinter, and would love to try playing online...
Only thing is I never had! Is it easy to do? and is a P4 1.4 good enough to do the job? I got DSL so that's good enough I guess... How do you find other people to play with and how long do you play for? I'm in California now and get home at around 6 Pacific (3 EST)... anyone care to explain this to me? I'de really appreciate!! |

Yes, a 1.4 is quite sufficient.
You can go to Gamespy.com and download the Arcade (get the free version, no sane person would pay money for its laggy servers) and add some people to your buddy list. Or, you can just search for games in-game with the built in tools. Games can last however long you want, but if you like shorter sessions, don't be a host. _________________ Make good choices. |

This sounds like a great idea, though personally I have never bothered with online gaming. (I refuse to keep paying after buying the game at our inflated prices $90-$100 ) However, I currently have 3 problems. First, I'm still playing Morrowind; Second, NWN is not yet available here and Finally, living in Australia means I'm out of synch with the rest of the game playing world. (GMT + 10 hrs) I usually have about a 4 hour window (7-11 local time) when I have the time and opportunity to sit at my computer uninterrupted. Still, go for it. _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!

Well, the good thing here is that playing online with NWN doesn't cost anything more than the admission price you pay when you buy the box
As for your time zone, I am very sure there are other people in the community that are closer as far as time zones are concerned, and that are looking for players as well. _________________ =Proud Father of a new gamer GIRL!=
