diference between dragon hunter and paladins

Goddammit, for God's sake, Goddammit
i was a 20 level paladin and i read about "best melee weapon" and i heard that best melee weapon (and armor too) hap the dragon hunters and I STARTED the game from the very of the begining. AND NOW , when i posted the "best(cross)bow" topic i "learned" from u guy that a very good(or best) (cross)bow has the paladin??????

Huh? That post made my brain hurt.

Best armor: Paladins
Slayer's armor has 'better' fire protection, but that's insignificant compared to the higher overall damage prevention the Paladin's armor provides.

Best sword: Dragon Slayers. Much more powerful than anything the Paladins can ever get.

Best ranged weapon: Dragon Slayer's crossbow. Much more powerful than any non-Slayer bow/xbows.

i'll chose the dragon slayer, eve if i loose some full day of playing with paladin

by the way, it is hard to be a melee warrior? i have a weapon that does 85 dmg but when i attack an enemy does MUCH LESS dmg than my xbow wich has 40 dmg,(until i found a better one) except the critical hits

It's not hard, your skill is probably just less with your weapon. When you get a high % in 1h or 2h, you'll get almost all critical hits.

You can get the Dragon Slayer crossbow (at least) if you're a Paladin.
