I'd rather be attractive. I'm too lazy to be sporty, and intelligence can hurt badly at times.

Patton (who nearly won the Olympic Pentathlon) or Douglas MacArthur? Seneca? There are plenty of geniuses who were also physical specimens; just not many scientists. I wonder why?

Here's another one: Michelangelo Buonoratti. You might've heard of him...

Yes i know it and i volontariously leave them out but for one reason: The point is that you CAN think (and pretty well, i think!) also if you haven't a perfect body! as you can read from my profile i'm a martial artist and i know what does mean "concentration" and "yoga ways of breath" but your mind must be strong to continue over and over... without a strong willpower you can't do your best...
and obviously this is only my opinion!

ahhm forget it, we would never end this discussion if we went on like this. We are all in our different state of life, and we all have our own ways of getting through it, that's why we'll never agree on this subject.

So much for clear, pure, open mind.

But seriously though... Athletic? Why? So you can run away from the lions better? What lions? Perfect body coordination? Why? So you can press the klutch in your car with greater precision? We live in day and age of automatic transmissions. Senses that feed your mind? Stephen Hawking is recognized as one of the greatest minds of our time, yet all he can do is move one finger on his body. That's it. Think about this though. If he did not have intelligence and strength of mind that he does, what good would all enlightenments and yogas of the world do for him? Martial arts training? Inner peace? Unfortunately, he can't take that to the bank. What he can, is his thoughts. The thoughts that many people flock to hear when he's willing to try and vocalize them through his voice machine. All he has is his mind and his single finger. I'm sure his finger is very athletic. Is he successful as a human being? Well, he has an extreme disability for many years, yet he is still alive and active in our society. He publishes books. Had a movie made about himself/his thoughts. Gives public lectures. He fired his old aged nurse and hired this young, blond, well endowed (I know, I've seen her up close in real life) one, that he subsequently married. I'd say he's pretty well off. So, he doesn't do his Katas every day, but...

I'd be all three, like myself!

I actually selected attractive, since it's the one I'm not. It goes most closely with what I would have selected, which is something akin to "likeableness". If you can get along very well with people, you can go far. And if, like W., your dad is rich, you can even become President.

Oh, that reminds me of a sketch I saw... George W. is giving an address to some people about monarchies and how they are the way of the past. He then says something like, "It is a very unfair system if the leader of a country can be selected because his father was leader before him."

Intelligence doesn't require Martial Arts as someone argued before - think of one of the greatest minds of our time - Stephen Hawkins - brilliant scientist, great thinker and, by all accounts, a top bloke. But I'm fairly sure he doesn't spar daily with a Karate Master!

I'd choose attractiveness so I could shag Britney!

By the way, you guys get intelligence confused with level of education. You cannot study your way to intelligence. Intelligence is the ability to use what you have already learnt in the best way possible.

And someone wrote that athletes are just morons who repeat the same movements over and over until they get really good at it. That's so wrong I wanna.. vomit. Only a VERY ignorant person would not see the difference in skill between Mario Lemieux and Claude Lemieux. Mario is one of the best hockey players ever, while Claude.. well, he wasn't the brightest star in the sky. Mario, when he was younger, never practiced, ate junk food and skipped practices. Claude on the other hand worked out hours after everyone else had gone home. It's just a question of talent.

Garri Kasparov didn't play more chess than anyone else.. Bob Beamon didn't jump more than anyone else.. Elvis didn't sing more than anyone else.. And Cindy Crawford didn't.. uhm. comb her hair more than anyone else. (great example, I know). You're just born with certain abilities.

I was born with the superhuman power of always knowing which line is the fastest at the mall!

??? The original pool was about choosing if you would more interested in beeing born with Exceptional intelligence, powerful and athletic body or awesome beauty... we aren't talking about education... the conversation then was brought in another direction: is it possible to be intelligent without a perfect body? Someone said that the perfect body&mind is a "all in one"... and others said that it IS possible to separate the two categories... and the example of Stephen Hawkings is the best example one could brings... nothing more... talking about education bring obviously to a dead end because education is not intelligence

Ignorance is bliss.
Warning* I'm going to brag a little bit here* I have an IQ of 140.
Nothing is more important to me than my intelligence, not matter how depressed I got or how low my self-esteem went, I could always count on the fact that I could outsmart my friends and family. But if given the chance to drop my IQ 40 points in order to get the perfect body, I honestly don't know which I would chose.
