I am not putting this up on our frontpage, since it is no official release but a bootleg movie (of mediocre quality, btw), but here you go: Follow the link to find a 11MB Morrowind movie from ECTS, showing some in game footage:

I haven't seen it myself so far. It requires DivX4. Enjoy and let us know what you think.

Well I'm not able to download it for the moment, but I have seen lots of screenshots from the game and have very high expectations to this game.
Rumours say that you even can make your own Ultima Underworld game with the editor!

People will have a hard time choosing the editor to build their RPG. Morrowind? NWN? Dungeon Siege? It will all depend on the ease of use and how much freedom there is in the editors. I suspect that NWN will lead the pack, followed by Morrowind (will the TES universe be hardcoded in the editor?) and Dungeon Siege (as far as I can tell, it will be more hack and slay than RPG).
Interesting times ahead...

With all respect for NWN and Dungeon Siege, I mostly look forward to Morrowind, with it's 1.person 3D realtime massive world, all with a very good graphic engine.
I must admit that I'm on shaky ground, because all the games still are in their development phase. But I know what Bethesda's worlds look like in contrary to the other developers, so for now, Morrowind gets the highest expectation of the games mentioned! |
