For the "german full version" is it possible and or has someone created one ?

I only wanted to know if someone has created a patch for the german full version, that inserts english subtitles into it. Does anybody know ?

No patch has been made explicitly for this reason. However, at least one person in this forum is using the english subtitles patch for the demo in the full German version and he says it is working fine. Even characters that are not in the demo version have their English subtitles.

okay here's the deal start the full german verson game up with out the English demo patch, in teh data file start a game and save, Then exit the game put the english demo patch in the data folder, and start ur game the english demo patch will work for the full verson of the german game, even in the old world it'll work, with every character everywhere or thats what kiwi boy says , he gave me step by step instructions to do it

Yeah it works even in the old world but even if I have english subtitles I would like to hear voices in english  anyway its a good start and I can understand everything  |

yeah but Xaradas sounds bad ass in german like everyone says reading english and hearing german is pretty nice, i still think it woulda been better for then to make the game with a choice of what lang u need have a start section say Eng, Germ, Fren, Russ, and u just choose the one u need to play

Yeah but do you imagine all the work it would take to record all the voices in all these languages? lol gothic 2 would come with...lets say 15 cd!  |

i Personaly think they should have been doing all the voices at the same time..they should have had a larger team working on it and we would have our GII boxes sitting right by our sides..christ

HornOx made it. He then changed it so it will NOT work anymore except on the demo. It was infringe on the full retail version. Of course some of us have the original file  Maybe by releasing it to everyone by personal request they will get mad and get off thier arsche and get the game out before everyone is playing the German version with English subtitles = loss profit. To get patch you will have to ask someone here nice and it can only be given for personal use only, no wide website distribution....at my age, dying to wait for the game to come out is a real possibility...
