UG im confused how do u give people items and have them equip them and by the way who is shrat ive played the game through 3 times and never encountered a guy named shrat       also will you plz tell me how to use cheats to posses someone i know if the spell called control but i never knew about a control cheat plz fill me in on this thx

Shrat is in Gothic 1. You're posting on the Gothic 2 forum.
1) Type smarvins or bmarvinb (or cmarvinc if you're in Gothic 2)
2) Put the stuff you want to give to an NPC on the ground
3) Look at the NPC in question and press the o key (=> possess)
4) Now you're the NPC. Pick up the stuff and equip it.
5) Look at your old self and press the o key again to repossess your original body.

Shrat can be found in a hut in the middle of the swamp surounded by Swamp-sharks. He is the onlyperson you can take on as a permanetn party member.  |

Thanks for the tip i havent played gothic 1 in so so long its not even funny and now i have just recently beaten gothic 2 for the first time with militia and paladin so im going for the novice/mage one now and ill let u know how i do but only in the GOTHIC 2 forum so cya there also visit the world of warcraft forum its great!

Don't forget Mud, only Mud (who is a natural "latcher") can go all the way through the game, (he killed the sleeper!) But Shrat, the only other natural latcher can only go as far as Gor Boba's gate, his party overseer (pc-hero) will get attacked by any sect member.

Gor Boba is the templer (pretty tough) guy who guards the gate to the inner orc temple just after the "spikes" room with blood red floor.

Ahh now I remember that part thanks it's just that I hadent played Gothic1 in around half a year now and I'm starting to forget stuff  .
