BG2 - How do I "place" something |
|
I decided to play BG2 again (still a fun game). I am in the sewer of the Copper Coronet and am standing in front of the four sewer pipes in the Lilarcor Sword quest. I double click on a pipe, get the question and then I don't remember what to do. How do I "use" something in my inventory and place it in the pipe to satisfy the question. I've tried just about everything I know but can't get the ring, hand, etc., out of my inventory and into the pipes. How do I do it? After I get the question, I get "zapped" everytime I try to click on the pipe again. |

If I remember correctly you just have to have the right item in your inventory.
Edit: there is certain sequence as to which pipe to press. _________________ Money - An article which may be used as a universal passport to everywhere except heaven, and as a universal provider of everything except happiness. |

Ah ha! I'm at work right now, so I can't try what you suggested. You are probably right though, I do have four items; but I kept clicking on the far left hand pipe. That's what I get for assuming anything. Thanks. |

There's a definite order you need to click the pipes... the sword gives you the order. The deceptive part is you need to double click each pipe... once to get the riddle for the pipe and the second time to 'use' the pipe. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi
