couple questions about quests in town

hi, i have two questions.

1) i saved shanny from the demon cult, and returned her to her mother and she gave me some items. after i left the area though (reloaded another area and came back) she was gone again. the quest didn't fail or anything, right?

2) i can't find a way to get into felan's room at all to investigate his murder.

i searched for these two answers here, but came up short (i might have overlooked something).

thanks.

Hi mezertine,

You are right with Shanny, once the quest is over the kid just disappears.

Just play out some of the other quests in the game and keep talking to all the parties in the castle and in the city and you should get the key. If your stealth and knowledge skills are high enough you can pick the lock, but no need really.

If you really get stuck and can't find answers here, the walkthrough is great. You can get it here at the Arx Hosted Site. The pdf file has walkthrough, all the maps, and all the items.

Hope this helps. Just remember to come back to the castle and talk all of them after you finish other quests, and search the whole castle before you leave it.
