| How do I get lockpicking? Im not trustworthy;...... |

The only guy that I know of that is left for me to learn it from is the carpenter in Khorinis, but he says that I am not trust worthy, how do I become trust worthy? |

1.) Go see Mateo at the General store and talk to him about paladins. You will eventually get the option to go and get 100 gold from Gritta for him.
If you talk to Gritta and offer to pay the gold for her, the carpenter will like you more.
2.) Next get a blessing from the priest on the stage. (ask about a donation) give him 50 gold and he will bless you.
Then go to the east gate, you will see a fire mage there. Ask him how much donations are going for and he will take some of your money and bless you.
The carpenter will now teach you to pick locks, and agree to letting you be an apprentice for some one.

Also, you can steal Lehmar's ledger and give it to Thorben, then he'll teach you to pick locks for free
