Can not find Shaney. Been to level 4, killed the priests, heard her voice calling for someone to help her. I was attached by a demon and killed, now when I return, Shaney is no where to be found.

You were killed and now you live? I'm guessing you're loading here...
So when you "return", you kill the priests over again? Or you already killed them all?
Anyhoo, spoiler:
There's a torch where the priests are heading which you can't light up. Double click it to open the secret passage.
Course that won't solve everything  |

All have been killed, I am returning to level 4, no one, no body, no nothing left in this leve, will attempt to locate the torch

Ah, so you killed them all, you didn't get killed, OK, well here's a spoiler: I hope you have a savegame before you killed them, as you'll have a rather gruesome suprise.
Keep in mind though that this isn't essenstiak in any way to the main quest so you needn't bother yourself too much about whatever happens. |

Timing is everything in this quest, so have a couple of save games at least in case you mess up. You have to be quick, but not too quick. Most people find this quest a little frustrating. Good luck.
