Titan Quest Preview @ Game Zone

Completing the day's triple play on Titan Quest previews, we have on from Game Zone. Again the review discusses the positive comparisons to Diablo 2:
Titan Quest does seem a lot like an update version of Diablo 2, but that is not a bad thing. The latter was a thoroughly enjoyable hack ‘n slash, and Titan Quest provides that aspect in large does, but with the skill-leveling system, it also tempers all that with intelligent leveling considerations.
Read the rest here.

intelligent leveling considerations...

Huh? How can a mindless hack-n-slash be intelligent? You click, click and click some more until there's no more. I ask you, what's that got to do with rpg?

Leveling decisions were very complicated in diablo 2 and often required a lot of thought and planning to make the best choice, as well as experimentation to see if certain strategies worked well. If Titan Quest even comes close to that it will have done a very good job.
