Is there a Hotkey for health potions / food etc., Currently what I'm doing is running away mid-fight 'til the enemy stops chasing me, guzzle a potion, go back and fight, run away again...It's getting frustrating, I'm level 8 and it has been a bit of a slog getting fighting XP.
Any syggestions ?

No, but if you open your inventory the last availabl item used should still be highlighted. The only problem is that it takes time to swap between inventory and your weapon. You could try a health spell but that again takes time to cast and to swap back to your weapon. Best thing to do is go for ranged attacks against your enemey if you are getting killed to easy and build up your health / armour stats. Or just run away (works for me)

Eddie, at level 8 you should be able to fend off Most of the regular Critters you encounter fairly easy if you have been trained and have Armour ,choose your best weapon. try not to Go attack the enemy that are not part of Your Quest, as they will wipe the ground with you.

make sure you do all the task , and the side quest, ( like gatehering Food quest)
and the ( Lure Away ) in the 2 mines. and Dam Lurker, weed merchants, replacement for the lazy dope seller . then you start leveling up nicely and Thus getting stronger and dont have to Run Away from the Enemy

but to answer your Question directly ; NO
you have to Run your ass off, then Drink

Hi Mersil, thanks for that, I've done alot of quests and I wind up running into new areas (I know if I'm not able to beat the creatures I shouldn't), I'm like a kid in a sweetshop I always want to see whats on the other side of the hill and what wonderful hills they are, Its not so much to access health WHILE fighting, it for when running away !
