The server has been down for repairs and updates. As soon as they are complete we will load the PW for all to use. We have no time estimate as of now. Sorry. _________________ =Member of the Nonflamers Guild=

The domain the server is on has been troubled with a virus. It takes all of their resources to fix the related issues.
We hope to be back online soon. _________________ Kewl quotes:

Took me a bit, but I wanted to tell ffbj how great it was to get to ride the dragons in the PW. That was a new one for me at least and really inventive I thought. _________________ =Member of the Nonflamers Guild=

I just did another update today. One thing is that the mayor of Cleth now gives a quest to kill the goblin king. Also I added a few more mechants in some out of the way places, so people don't always have to return to town to buy stuff. Brogo's in the Browneagle village even sells coins that allow you to teleport back to his shop.
Yes, the dragon ride is a lot of fun, and useful to make up lots of ground as opposed to ground travel. We skipped over quite a bit the other night, but it was fun running with you both. |

Yes, that link should always take you to the latest version. I did that quest some time ago so it should be included in whatever update you did. Though I think you have to wade through the story the Mayor tells you to get the quest. He is a lonely guy these days.
Corwin. Remember when you first tested my world long ago when I have about half a dozen areas? It's a little bigger now. |

Yes, and I also remember the insane level of difficulty for even level one and two chars. I died VERY quickly. I also remember steep respawn penalties that kept me at LOW levels all the time. Has this changed? _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!

Yeah. Things were pretty tough in those days. This is the kinder gentler version, but it's still tough. One thing I did was reduce the respawn to a 1/4 penalty for lower levels. After 4th though you start taking the full penalty.
I also split the penalty up, 1/3 on death and 2/3 on respawn to encourage parties. There is also a decent chance for divine intervention to occur, which also encourages parties.
I also added in a number of ways to gain xp. Just by exploring you get xp. Once you are a certain level areas are revealed to you, yet you get no further xp. This is done on the following schedule: 6th 12th 16th 20th etc... So most areas will fall into these types. It's one way to tell if you are in a dangerous area. There are also combat dummies, and a number of quests for xp. Finally you can turn in artifacts of faction enemies, even independents can do this, for gold and xp. |

There have been some problems with incompatibilites between 1.66 and the CEP.
These will be fixed soon in the next CEP patch. Meanwhile make sure you have the latest CEP 1.51, since if you play in CEP worlds with the earlier patch, 1.50 this can cause crashes. I think this may be the reason people have been having trouble in my pw. Any way, hope it is resolved soon. |
