Joining the Fellowship in Ultima 7
   

Hello all,

I'm currently slowly mooching through Ultima 7 and was wondering if you HAD to join the fellowship. I'd rather not - just from an individual roleplaying perspective.

A walkthough I glanced at seemed to suggest joining when I get to Britain, but do I have to? Will i break something or not be able to complete the game?
