Sexual Bias?

I am running 2 characters, one male one female.

I met a woman along the road who had been robbed of her jewels.
She asked me to find the thief and tell him that she had the hots for him.

She gave me a glove to give him.

Both of my characters completed this quest and were given a note to return to her.

When I returned to her my female character was praised and given the name of someone to look up later in the game.

When my male character completed the quest she just said thanks and that was that, no further dialog.

Perhaps race had something to do with it? Or rep, or something, because when I did this quest as a female woodelf, she just said thanks...no other name to look up later.

I did this quest as a male redguard, and I got the bonus, too - so I think it is race related. BTW, I did it a couple of times during my review of Morrowind, and her reaction is MUCH more favorable if you wear at least expensive clothes .

And there is a sexual bias in the game - ever looked at the differences between a male and a female of a race in the stats? They are different, so it DOES matter which sex you have in the game.

Ok, so, it's not sexual bias. It's racial bias. Ohhh, that's much better

I crawled over every inch of the town in the letter and didn't see her anywhere. No option to ask for her either. Perhaps it's main quest related. Perhaps I missed something.

Don't tell specifics if you've found her. Don't want this to go to the spoiler forum which I avoid like the plague.

Just a sec...I need to stop laughing from that last post first.

Okay...

Idea here. I READ the note from the thief to the lady, and she only said thanks. Those that got praised and a name for later...did you read the note?

One Game, A Million Ways To Play. LOVE IT.

He said he felt really bad doing it and was praying that he could see her again (presumably to return the jewels and such). It might be enabling... but it might be that she redeems him.

Besides... I hate doing the bouncy-bouncy persuasion-taunt click fest thing until they attack me. Even with a 50% speechcrafter an a 100 personality it can take forever to cheese them off enough to commit suicide...

And yes, I snooped and read the note. Awwww... how touching. Almost was sweet enough to turn me around and charge him axe ready... but then I remembered 'good guy... I'm a good guy (this time)' But I'm a custom race... so I bet it IS race related and I just fluked out because the game saw 'uh... Dwarf? WTF? I guess he's compatible...'

But now with him out of the picture.....

I mean come on, she was hot.

I just gotta up my bad boy attributes, I'm sure she'd fall for me.

I am a thief too, and I shall steal her heart!

I did this too

I'm playing a Khajiit, unarmored(basically naked except for pants), no weapons, and with a 2 rep when I did this. I don't remember how good I was in her "persuasion", but couldn't be beyond 50.

I did the quest and got the message to look up someone too.

So its not race, its not clothes, not weapon... Mabe it's just random?

I'd done like 3 quests from the Blades by then.

If you follow the signs and walk from Seyda Neen to Balmora you'll find her.
