Joining the orcs ?

It seems you'll have a choice between joining the king's side or his opponents, but since the orcs are winning the war and I like being on the winning side: will it be possible to join the orcs? They're good fighters but they lack disciplin and order, something a human leader can teach them...

Joining orcs may be interesting but I dont think that you will have much
to talk with them - unless you have a orc language dictionary...

3rd level orcish: Piss off orcs and make a fight beetwen them
[ I dont know if this was a bug or what but actually when I first entered
the orc camp and had my weapon unholstered the orcs started killing
themselves - Orc guards vs. normal Orcs ]
Hmm not a bad idea but you'll need a Ulu-Mulu...

Do you go right? Or do you go left? A simple decision, yes? No ambiguities. Only the dream of the path not taken! And so one might stand in this place and contemplate for a long while. What will I miss if I go left? What will I lose if I go right? And in my indecision, have I chosen a worse fate?

what do you mean "join the orcs." the orcs seemed more than happy in gothic to have me join them for a moment. they would start chanting and become active--it must have been nice to have someone around who made them feel their instinctive warrior spirit come alive. as far as i am concerned i did them a big favor by just stopping by and giving them something to do (it sure must beat sitting around in those silly orcish shacks).

Character Class: Warrior, Mage, Paladin, ORC.

Obviously if you joined ORC, you belong to their camp... the winning camp! But really, if you intend to finish the game then any camp you join is the winning camp!

I doubt P-B will make it so that you have to lose to complete the game. Duh.

Me friend you human!

i don't know. our hero sort of looses to complete the first gothic. in order to defeat the sleeper you end up stuck @ the bottum of a crusty orc temple. thanks to your efforts everyone else in the camp goes free, meanwhile our hero sits and rotts. who is the looser? who knows, maybe this time around our hero not only gets stuck in the bottum of the pit but also starves to death down there. sure, it would cutt of any reasonable sequals to gothic 2...but that never stopped hollywood (just think about the number of times we have killed freddie, jason & now michael myers is back ). so, pb could place our hero on the side that is doomed to failure. heck, last time around i played as a sect groopie and things didn't work out for most of my fellow campers at all.
