once again i play as a novice and i have just completed the test of fire and i killed ulff and ageon ( i think it's spelled like that ) and i found a key on them both - it says it fits into a pad lock.....whats it for ???
and i have lehmars legder ( hes book ) to hanna ( the hotel owner ) and she gave me a key but whats it for ???

I can only answer you on the second question as i never played as a mage in G2 before.

The key opens a chest on the island oppsite of the Khorinis harbor, be careful, if you are a low-level, there are lizards there.********

The chest is in a cave, but isn't worth going there except if you have lockpicking skill as there are 4 more chests to open, three where you need lockpicking!!!

The keys fit a chest.......If I remember right. It has been a long time.
When you did the test of fire, and got the rune from the locked chest in the cave using the key Pyrokar gave you....the two keys they have are the same key, that Pyrokar gave them.
