IGNPC has conducted an interview with Trevor Chan, designer of the newly announced action-strategy hybrid with RPG elements Joan of Arc; here's a snip about the latter:
IGNPC: How and in what ways will your character grow over time?

Trevor Chan: Joan starts out with a limited range of combos and her warrior skills are low. Joan can acquire increasingly damaging combos through gaining experience points. Players will have the ability to strategically allocate the points they gain to several attributes that will enhance her overall military success. Special items encountered during the campaign will also grant her additional powers and abilities. Weapon enhancers can further increase the destructive power of the arms that the player yields on the battlefield. All in all, it's up to the player to determine how Joan develops into a military leader.

I think we all know how this game will end... what's the point in all that skill and development if the game ends with you burned at the stake for heresy? _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi
