Is it possible to get the red dragons gold? if so where and how?

Look along the volcano's walls. There's a spot you can walk and jump to get to it. I think it is directly behind the dragon where he was originally standing.

I think it is to the left when you com ein from the path. im not sure, but I think so.

You can also go back the path you came a little. There is a spot where you can climb up to it's stash. I think it's where you meet the third fire golem...
