as a paladin when you go to the hall of idirath (however you spell it lol) and you enter the mages room you need a black pearl for the mana recipe, i dont have one on me and i was wondering where to get one i went to milten to see if he might but he didnt.

I believe I found one in one of the empty prison cells guarded by the cave troll. I can't be totally sure, because I played as a mage, and had black pearls already in inventory. Did you also look in the back of the cave with all the lizardmen? There are a few chests back there, and one of them may have had the pearl. |

I think you can buy some from Gorax (He's in the monastry, selling all kind of scrolls and stuff you need to make runes)

You can also buy a Black Pearl from Lutero in the New World's harbor city of Khorinis. Specifically in the Upper Quarters.
It cost 1000, I think you should stick to just finding them.

You can sneak in Lutero's house and give him a good beat (don't forget to bring with you an oblivion spell). After that I took whatever he had. He has a black pearl (Ch 3). Bad kid!!!
