So many '0' posts?

What is the reason for having so many news posts that have no repies or in some cases even views?

It's the way the news comment forum posts are created. Someone clicking the "comment" link but not commenting, someone linking in externally with that link, someone digging through old newsbits in our database -- various things can trigger the system to create a forum entry.

Myrthos already has an overflowing to-do-list. I doubt this issue has a high priority.
