Dungeon Lords: First Patch Early Next Week

Worthplaying is reporting that they have learnt from DreamCatcher that a first patch for 'Dungeon Lords' will be made available early next week already. Worthplaying also has a list of issues that are going to be addressed so make sure to check it out if you are one of the early birds who already got their copy.

Waiting

Why I buy early releae games is a genetic fault. Dungeon Lords was unplayable for me and is waiting for the patch, like Sacred was. What little I played was impressive though. Is 10 minutes enough for an opinion? Just get cheap shipping so the patch and game coincide.

This game desperately needs a mega patch. There is a great game buried in here, but it needs some TLC..

*chuckles* Yes - I am most definitely glad that I had cancelled my pre-order of Dungeon Lords shortly after the demo was released...I rather suspect I'll be doing without this particular game until all the patching that is (obviously) needed is completed - who knows - by that time, I'll probably save myself some serious money, as I suspect by the time they get this game running smoothly...I'll find it in the "bargain bin" of any given software retailer *chuckles again*

Thankfully Peer to Peer is still alive and kicking despite all attempts to shut it down. Oh, it destroys game developers attempts to make quality games because they lose money? DW Bradley is quite wealthy and still released an unfinished game. Only 2% left on my download.

What tipped you off the DW is loaded? The huge success of Wiz and Warriors? Or maybe the cash flows from the over a decade old Wiz 7? Do you know if there was profit sharing of the title and what the cash flows of a old old title brings in today?

Look at your reasoning: the small dev houses with virtually no clout with the publishers and limited resources should have their games pirated because there is a good chance their games will be released and need a patch. But the big boy's games with shinny graphics that spend as much time as they need in qa shouldn't have their games pirated? So steel from the poor and give to the rich? How honorable of you.

But chances are you really don't care if a game needs patching or not. You're just a thief. And a f'ing idiot. I'm poor and I don't steel. And if I did steel I wouldn't try and justify it or brag about it. If I met a person like you in real life I would love to take your wallet and steel your ass-viginity. Little theiving sissy. And I'd laugh everytime I thought about how your farts would never sound the same again through your strecthed out cornhole. Ha hahahahaha.

I guess that would make me a hypocrite though since i said I wouldn't brag about steeling.

While I take some issue with the stylistic choices of the previous poster in making his point, I do agree wholeheartedly with it. You are indeed an "f-ing idiot" who is simply using any casuistry at hand to justify your piracy of a fragile a market producing less and less games of the type we all enjoy. But I'm sure this hardly matters to you as your need to brag about this indicates a personality type that simply requires attention at all costs, negative or otherwise. Your being comfortable with your own degeneracy does not make it any less degenerate. Nor does your bragging about it.

This is why I will wait for the second patch at least before I buy the game.

Very eloquent post Guest Number One. And you as well Guest Number Two.

I finished downloading Dungeon Lords and left my Peer to Peer program running so others can share in the entertainment. It is a fun game despite the few bugs. I am looking forward to the patch. The graphics and sounds are top notch. Very immersive.

Guest Number One, please learn to spell. I am insulted that you cannot insult me correctly. It deflates your otherwise valiant attempt.

Guest Number Two. Please refer to the following quote by, well, you.

The ancient Greeks would get a kick out of your double standard hypocrisy. Thank you both for playing. Monty, please send in the next contestants. Maybe they will have better luck.

I guess spelling good is justification for thievery? Thats okay, I'll use spelling bad to justify anal penitration. I win the jusification game. Like rock beats scissors, man-rape beats thievery. I hereby dub you poof-fart (because streched out bums can't make the trumpet noise and just make a poof noise, but with your quick wit I'm sure you got it, huh poof-fart?)

To the discussion above...

I download games illegally too. I play them and if I find them worthy, I'll buy the thing in the shop. And if I don't... Well, then i remove them or play them a little more sometimes. Hey, 50 Euro is hell of a lot of money for a poor student.

It irritates me to see two people trying to play some sort of paladin in a world where such behaviour only leads to inevitable self-destruction. In this case, the possibly useless waste of your 50 Euro or 50 Dollars.

Does this statement make me an idiot or a fuck-up? No, it merely makes my moral standards lower than yours. With which I can perfectly live.

Hehe, you are really quite entertaining. Given your proclaimed mastery of logic and rhetoric, could you please explain what the hell your talking about. Ancient greeks, my arse. You made absolutely no coherent point. So to claim some form of logical and rhetorocal victory based on that blather and then just take your ball and run home, is quite friggin ridiculous. I'm glad your satisifed with yourself, because surely noone else is.

Now, before any of you Guests feel compelled to continue throwing insults at each other, I'd like to remind you that this ain't AnalDot nor is it I-can-insult-you-better-than-you-can-me-neener-neenerDot . This is RPGDot and we'd appreciate if you could keep your discussions somewhat civil. The first couple of exchanges were still in funny flaming territory but it's gotten a bit low, don't you think? ... *watches as all Guests nod at these words of wisdom* ... glad we agree .
