| Has anyone actually killed the thieves' guild? |

I was just wondering...My first time through as a militiaman, I could never figure out how to kill the thieves. They just seemed way too high-level for me. Has anyone figured out a way to kill the whole thieves' guild, short of doing something drastic like rising to level 15 in chapter 1? |

I didn't kill them, but I got tired of getting my you know what beat and joined militia and turned them in and the rest of the troops killed them for me. I went back and got all the loot. And the island stuff as well. Sweet.

Yeah, I unintentionally got rid of them the same way. I wanted to take them down, but I guess I shouldn't have informed Lord Andre, because after like two days the militia will raid the 'HQ' of the thieves guild on their own if you don't do it. |

I killed them in chapter 1 or two, I was level 5 or 6 then. Most weren't difficult kills for a crossbowman, just Cassia was pretty tough. But I jumped on one of the cupboards in her room and she couldn't get at me anymore, so in the end she became another easy kill. |

I managed it in ch 1 at level 6 or 7, used goblin skeletons to distract Cassia and threw a couple of fireballs at her. Ramirez I managed to take down with arrows. Jessup ? with a sword. Not in that order.

Thanks, all. I've still got a guildless game saved, so I think I'll wander around chapter 1 leveling for a while, then go over to the Guild for some revenge.

I joined them, and killed them all as a last thing to do before I got on my ship.
It didn't take anything special.. I was a paladin and killed them all with just a sword. I reported it to Lord Andre and got XP for it too.  |

I did it in Chapter 1 at lvl 5 I used a light crossbow that does 40 damage I found near the town

I can't remember exactly where, but in the area around Onar's farm or maybe the tavern, you find dead bodies and lots of goodies as you level up and can kill gobblins and some of the harder beasts. Just remember to save, I died so much at first, and one time after having some good exps. That is frustrating.

I did too, but it was in a late chapter ... I'd given up on the quest (couldn't solve it, and got side tracked with the main story), but I was surprised how much damage Cassia did to me ... she didn't get close to killing me (being a level 30 or so dragon hunter), but I do recall thinking "Good thing I didn't venture here earlier!"

I found it on a skeleton on top of the cliff that is right outside gate.
You will need to take the path towards to the light house and work your way back towards the top of the cliff. there should be hunter sitting on a bench on top of the cliff. right before you get to the hunter on the edge of the woods is were I found the Skeleton with the light crossbow
