| Gameplay.co.uk just shipped my Gothic 2 order!!! |

Just got an email confirmation from them. I'm in the US, so I probably won't get it until next week, BUT any of you in the UK who had a pre-order will most likely be getting the game tommorow!!!
Okay Xerxes...are you ready to step up to the plate and order now?

It says that in the email? Mine had no such information. In fact it was blank except for links to the order information. The subject read:
Your gameplay order <order number> is on its way!
And maybe the 1-4 weeks is simply a catch-all for ALL of the countries it ships to. I have gotten stuff from the UK before and it usually takes about a week.

Maybe you don't have html enabled in your mail program.
"We are pleased to inform you that your order for has been dispatched by our team in Leeds.

LOL, you're right. I always use plain text in my mail readers at work. I changed to HTML and saw the same message as yourself.
I did call the people at Gameplay prior to preordering though and the guy told me specifically that U.S. orders took 8 to 10 days.

Oh Yeah, Looks like those that pre-order may get the game brfore the weekend to play!
I am ordering through GoGamer.com based here in USA to avoid the shipping cost ( and I want to buy a few other games on sale they have) but I will have to wait until early next week for the order to go through. They have 2-day FedEx shipping and a great place to get multiple games for the one same low shipping price.
Thanks for the heads up Elkston; I am still eating my swords  Looks like it is for real, and you can buy it here USA/Canada through gogamer.com (telephone them, the web page has not been updated) early next week!

holy crap is this really it , after all the waiting its this week i hope so , but how if it isnt annouced on gothic 2 the dates? Ill be so happy if it comes out this week ill probably play it non stop and wont sleep much , it will bring tears to my eyes  ok maybe thats going to far  |
